Sales Training
The sales training includes:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes annually.
    • Two week course focused on technical and sales to better position the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes each year.
    • Two week course focused on technical and sales to better position the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) different sales programs offered for General Managers twice a year, totaling 4.5 training days, focusing on sales culture and day-to-day sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians is comprised of:

  • Furnace and air conditioning tune-up procedural training twice a year
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ in the spring and fall
  • Continual NATE certification and specialty programs as needed

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in supplementary education through the launch of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc courses to better offer a complete education to our technical personnel.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice annually, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to give support, tools, and framework for running a business from the P&L standpoint.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times annually, conduct outbound calling over a one (1) day course. In this program we study HVAC basics, what drives people to purchase, calling techniques, scripts, customer purchase indicators, and controlling customer objections.

Dispatcher

  • No formal training offered. On the job training conducted by the General Manager and relevant staff at center level.
